hmm does anyobdy succesfully "unbricked" his psp. Got 2 psp, one was bricked during update. The SCreen just stay blank. IF I put an eboot in the the menitoned folder, the memory stick led starts flashing for a second. But after a hard reboot it still the same. Tried to re - update it , and tried the oe recovery and didn't work either. Any suggestions

Well then wouldn't homebrew apps that flash the files from XMB do the same then? Nope.

as far as I know m33's updates are cumulative so you should be able to go from 3.52 m33 directly to 3.52 m33-4

darn, im using this new update but when i used the pops 3.11 and load up Ehrgiez (USA) it freezes on me. I dont even have any savedata of it... :aikido:

Will I need to update to 3.52M33-3 before apply M33Update4?

If I reflash 3.52M33, Can I use M33Update4 patch directly?

I 100% agree with M33 for all the modding to files they do there. This is why I'm here now, you get all the credit and they get none.

They are not sorry for anything they do. I know for a fact as I am now an EX Mod from there who spoke up and got booted. I never liked the way he dealt with modding files. I had to go other sites to get the real ones.
IF you let him go this time he will just do it again. If not to M33 then to another group.
I did damage to the site this is half the reason why it went down last night. :P

PS3NEWS should chage thier name to PS3LIARS. All he does is steal everything from other sites and names it as his own. PS3LEECH is another name change.

Owned:exclamation: lol. anyway flash0 in XMB. Is it safe or not. I hear that when you flash from XMB there is a chance of corrupting the file or you flash0 all together:cray: Because the modules are loaded to RAM it shouldnt matter right.

btw1: flashers work because the vsh resource modules or prx's are not loaded into the ram so it will not effect it.

Hi everybody,

First I want to thank you a lot for your great work !

BTW, I tried to install themes from XMB, and i softbricked everytime (10 different tries). I think it would be better to activate flash0 from XMB in read-only mode, and the writing option only from recovery or from an eboot (as usual).

nicely done m33, just installed the update and works great. Although i have a problem. When ever i set a background and play a game. Then when i close the game, i get these 2 icons called psp spot and poratble tv. Wondering how to fix that. My isof loader also gets disabled and then i have to go back into recovery and fix it. Can any1 tell me how to fix this?

sounds kinda like the problem I had zaindapain, try this... you will lose all your settings but it will probably work, turn off your psp and go into recovery with r when turning back on, go to advanced, and do format flash1 and reset settings, after that do it once more, and it should fix the problem, it did for mine

ok first of all m-33 should be reciving the upmost respect you guys are doing things that would take evey one els 10x as long to accomplish ps3 news is dead the fucked up and now anybody with an iq of 5 oh higher is avoiding them if you don't take m33's word for it just search google there are hundreds of forum posts talking about how ps3 news has deleted their forum posts and screwed over many psp users with their bad download and now they are doing every thing in there power to cover it up. i have tried to sway everone i can to download directly from this site directly and cut out the middle man some people just wont register i have no sympothay for the bricked psp users they could have just downloaded from here the trusted source. so hahahahahahahaha serves you right for trusting a third party more than m33. I will continue to support m33 all the way untill they give me a reason not to which i do not believe they ever will. If you guys ever need help spreading the word or anythig else just drop me an email you guys are the best !!!!!

no. first 352M33, then 352M33-4 (without 2 and 3)

now with the new battery downgrade, more people have the choice of the firmware, and sou you M33 get more more and more Fans!!

And because the battery of the PSP2000 has the same system only is bigger we can perheps downgrade this to :-)

If you have the official Sony firmware version 3.40, then you have to downgrade back to the firmware 1.50 using the Jigkick Battery method or with the Lumines-exploit.

If you don't know anyone with an custom firmware or firmware 1.50, then you should better use the Lumines-exploit. Try to google for downgrade lumines.

Yes, you need an emulator. Lucky for you, Sony built one in already. It is called pops. Google for tools to convert an ps1 game to an eboot. Lot's of nice tools are already made.
You should find one that is easy for you.
