An M33 XMB Theme?
 

I'm just putting this idea out there, wouldn't an M33 inspired XMB theme be nice? In place of a wave we could have twinkling stars on an image of the M33 galaxy. Icons might have a "spacy" look or similar. just a thought.

Or maybe we could convince members of Team M33 to post up screendumps of their XMBs (with links so we might use the same theme). I think it would be nice to see what look they like for their XMB.

I would definetly use it. I mean, if the icons don't look like spaceships or some gayness like that...

It would be nice to have the galactic background, but with nice icons, no star trek'ish/star wars stuff, keeping it simple :D

I think if one was to be made, it shouldn't be too different from the original XMB. It shouldn't have Cats and Dogs for Icons for icons, it should look simple... but in a pleasant way.

You could have a 12 hi res BG 01-12.bmp with M33 written in the bottom right in a cool font.

anyone feel like making one then? I would but it is beyond my abilities. at this point even just a nice M33 01-12.bmp would be great

please not Evolve his themes tend to be to in-volved. at least to my taste.

evolve seems to put to much into the themes, I like the XMB and do not like how much it is changed to look like a Mac or what have you. The XMB should stay a cross media bar, not a "look theres one icon in the middle of the screen" media bar.

well if evolve cranks one out for us, I will use the system_plugin_bg.rco, and 01-12.bmp but likely not the topmenu_plugin.rco

I just cant see the appeal of changing the interface so drastically that it is not recognizable as the PSP. But at this point I think I'd be happy with any M33 theme, regardless!
