Pandora and 3.52 M33 questions
 

can somebody send me the files that you actually get when you have the magic mem stick cause anytime i try to use the msformat.exe using the cmd i get the the option if i want to format [y] and when i put yes it says error cannot be read???

my computer is windows vista and can anyone tell me how you guys did it in your own ways please or can somebody share the files please.

Pandora's v1.50 to 3.52 M33 upgrade

Having recoverd a "Bricked" PSP using Pandora's Battery Unbricker to the minimal subset v1.50 firmware, can I upgrade directly to 3.52 M33?

Yes, just run "xploit patcher" before running "3.52 M33 Update".

UnRAR this archive to psp/game folder, then start "kxploitpatcher", and start "m33 update".

wait if i used pandoras unbricer and sucsess unbricded i can install fw352M33 ??
with out upgrading to 2.71 and downinf to 1.5

Yes

Downgraders from 2.71/2.80 causes a non-critical defect (but there about 5-6 suck bugs appears!) of ID Storage Keys on TA82, after it you must use KeyClearner.

After uses Pandora on TA82 to downgrade to 1.50 you got fixed 5th key and normal state of other keys. (if you don't damage your ID Storage before)
For guaranteese you may test your keystate with KeyClearner.

Without this keyfix you couldn't run 1.50 on TA82 and Pandora wouldn't work, because it, it patched your 5th key.

With fixed 5th key you can install any CFW (OE, or better M33).
(but not 3.30+ OFW!, your 5th key will be refused by Sony Firmware Installer).


But, if you suddenly want to return to license-life-style you can install 3.30+ OFW by following these steps (Pandora required!, and 1.50 Enabler Home-Brew):

0. Have 1.50 with normal keystate: after pandora downgrade from official FW, or after using keyclearner on your custom firmware.
1. Install 2.71-3.11 OFW. (patched 5th key allow install OFW 2.71-3.11 on TA82)
2. make nandump this FW with Pandora.
3. return to your custom firmware with restoring it's nand dump with Pandora (or you say, that you have pandora, but don't have nand dump of your custom FW ? - make it!)
4. run 1.50 enabler on your custom FW, then press '[]', 'O'.
5. run pandora recovery menu and restore nand dump of your 2.71-3.11 (DON'T choose "restore ID-Storage" while restore nand dump!)
6. You got 2.71-3.11 OFW, with fully original keystate, that allow you install any OFW.

but how to update to m33-4 ?

1.50 -> (xploit patch) -> 3.52M33 Update -> 3.52M33-1234 Update. (The 4th update called "1234" by M33, you don't need install updates 2/3).

if u want u can unpatch key5 and still got cfw.
downgrade with pandora - > isnatll custom ipl. then unpatch key5 with latest key cleaner by Chilly Willy if u unpatch before installation of custome ipl u'll brick. install 3.40OE then go to 3.52m33. If u install 3.52m33 directly from 1.50 by xkploit patch, key5 will be patched again by m33 way. if u want install custom ipl again. make nand backup.

can i directly go to 3.52 m33 using pandora battery by changing the UPDATE.PBP (1.5 official fw) to the 3.52 installer?

No, but very soon, appears a new version of Pandora's Recovery Menu (now appears a betta-version, with many non-implemented but announced functions).

Try this..
Cmd.exe -> Format (letter of MS), then you will be able to use msinst.exe.

Try anybody's computer with Win XP. (Under Vista, causes problem's)

The supplied command tools do not work under Windows Vista. You have to use Windows XP.

I have 3.52 v. ,can I update to 3.52 m33+4?
